Through our research, several themes emerged that have helped organize the patterns we surfaced. While these themes are often interrelated, they group together distinct needs, practices, and realities that different audiences experience and navigate. We use patterns as the basic unit of this toolkit to describe challenges, problems, and phenomena experienced or observed by our participants.
